Bedard won the discus and shot put and ad-
vances to the WOSSA competition in Lon-
don today.

Neither competitor qualified for WOSSA in
the event.
Midget sprinter, Leslie Meyers dives for

Huron -Perth track' and . field champion-
ships held in Goderich.
Baird Robinson leaves the rest of the field
behind as he wins the 200 metre sprint.
Robinson was the senior boys individual
champion at the Huron -Perth champion-
ships. He tied the record in the 200, won
the 400 metre hurdles, placed second in the
400 metres and he anchored the winning
open boys 4x400 relay team.
Everyone seemed to be watching the GDCI
track and field team at the Huron -Perth
meet held in Goderich, including arch -
rivals Stratford Central. Watch is about
all Stratford did as Goderich placed se-
cond overall to F.E. Madill S.S..
