SATURDAY, MAY 23 - Come and join the
Huron -Bruce Swingers for an afternoon of
fun Square Dancing. Dancing from 1-3 p.m.
at the Suncoast Mall on May 23. Beginners
welcome. Come out and try it. Caller Lorne
Lockrey. Beginners eligible for draw for
$500 prize donated by CP Airlines as part of
Canada Fitness Week.
TUESDAY, MAY 26 - The Goderich and
District After 5 Club cordially invites in-
terested persons to a dessert and coffee
time, "M -M -Good", on May 26 from
7:30-9:30 p.m. at the Saltford Valley Hall.
Cost is $3. Special features include presen-
tations by Janice Larson (Marvellous
Mouthfuls - a demonstration of fancy sand-
wich making), Mary Hearn l harpist) and
Eva Eagleson ( Motivating Moments ).
Reservations are necessary and can be

THURSDAY, MAY 14 - The Goderich Art
Club Exhibition begins with an "Open
House" on May 14 from 7-9 p.m. in the base-
ment of the Goderich Public Library. Come
and view the paintings, have coffee and chat
with the artists. The paintings will be on
display until the.end of May. '
SATURDAY, MAY 23 - Garage safe from 9
a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Peter's Church grounds
( if raining, to be held indoors at church
hall). Proceeds to missions. •
WEDNESDAY, MAY 20 - The Goderich
Horticultural Society will hold its Annual
Plant Auction and regular meeting at Vic-
toria School auditorium on May 20 at 7:30
p.m. Open to the public ( use new south
entrance).

'Salad Supper will be held at Nile. United

travel tb the Harrogate Music Festival in

money, they will be holding a Car Wash and

regarding nutrition for nursing mothers and
their families, as well as information about
weaning the breastfed baby, come to the
May 20 meeting of the Goderich La Leche

TUESDAY, MAY 26 - The Goderich
Medical Society, presents "Towards World
Peace in the Nuclear Age", a program of
movies, speakers and discussion at North
Street United Church ( gymnasium ). on May
26 at 7:30 . p.m. The movie , is entitled
"Speaking our Peace" and the speakers in-
clude Dr. M. Watts, Dr. C. Chan and Dr. D.
Neal along with Rev. Robert Ball. Discus-
sion to follow, admission free.

Children's Services' of Huron County
presents Drs. Beryl and Noam Chernick,

parents on understanding childhood and

Students at Victoria Public School were busy with last minute
rehearsals of "On Broadway", their operetta, Monday and Tues-
day morning. "On Broadway" features the talents of the school's
student body in a number of fashions including acting and singing.
Kindergarten students also make their debut as evidenced in their
• production of "Old MacDonald Had A Farm." Opening night was
held last evening. A second performance is scheduled for tonight
( Wednesday) at Victoria school. The curtain opens at 7:30 p.m.
