At the April meeting of the Goderich
Garden Club, •Iso mis-named several years
ago) by unanimous vote was reverted to its
original name of Goderich Horticultural
Society. A member of District 8 of the On-

to membership. Garden Clubs, as such, do
not qualify for these grants.
Under the name "Goderich Garden Club"
an exhibit was displayed at the recent Home
and Garden Show held in the arena. This
(display was loaned and designed by a club
member, Lesley Zolob, proprietress of Mar-
tin's Market on Highway 8. Many thanks to
Lesley, Annette Sternp and Jean. Adams
whose cow bined efforts planning and set-
ting up the miniature garden that so aptly
represented the Society. Many thanks also
to sitters who gave of their time to man the
tables, supervise draws., hand out brochures
on gardening, supervising draws, etc.,
namely: Nell Coates, Marian Warren, Jean
Buchanan, Margeret Kelly, Vera Margerm,
Karen Fooks, Jean Peart, Jean Adams and

friends of the society who contributed props
and accessories. The society compliments
AI,L exhibitors.
