Dance
The Klompen Feest wind-up
dance will be the place to be
this year with entertainment
provided by the Whiskey Jack
Music Company.
A very popular local band,
Whiskey Jack has performed at
several final dance celebra-
tions and have always provided
the crowd with a wide range of
music.
Their musical repertoire in-
cludes everything from country
to rock and roll, and covers a 30
year span from the 1950s to the
1980s.
The band has changed slight-
ly since their 1985 performance.
Three of the old members re-
main; Fred Lobb of Clinton,
Dwayne Tinney of Exeter and
Jim Nott of Clinton. However,
Peter Snell of Exeter has
replaced Glenn Nott of Clinton,
and Paul Dockstader of
o Whiskey Jack
Goderich has replaced Ed
Scruton of Goderich.
Members of Whiskey Jack
play instruments ranging from
the kazoo to the bass guitar. In-
cluded in Fred's duties are the
playing of the saxophone, piano
and kazoo as well as providing
some backing vocals.
The drummer for the band is
Dwayne, but he also plays the
piano while adding some back-
ing vocals.
Jim Nott also has four in-
struments to his credit as he
plays the lead and rhythm
guitar, piano and harmonica.
Backing vocals are also provid-
ed by Jim.
Of the band's newer
members, Paul is the lead
singer and Peter plays the bass
and rhythm guitars.
