Novice A
drop 3 games
at tourney
April 24, 25, 26 the Novice A Hockey
Team took part in a three day hockey tour-
nament in Buffalo, New York. The boys
took on a tough team from East Guillery
Township, north of Toronto in their first
game Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Despite
losing, they put up a good.battle after be-
ing off skates for almost six weeks.
In their second game at 3 p.m. they
played Hamilton who had an overpowering
team, defeating Goderich quite easily, but
despite their odds Goderich never gave up.
After this game the excitement really
started as upon arriving back at the hotel
they entered the lobby to find themselves
in the middle of several World Wrestling
Federation Wrestlers. They spend the next
feW hours talking to and getting
autographs of the wrestlers. During the
day; they received autographs from the
likes of Hulk Hogan, Brutus Beefcake,
Johnny V, Greg the Hammer Valentine,
Danny Davis, and many others.
Sunday afternoon the boys came out
fired up for a game against New Jersey
another strong team only to lose 4-3. The
boys greeted their parents after the last
game with three'cheers for a weekend they
will not soon forget.
