The author -illustrator of three children's books visited the school as part of a Writer's Union pro- gram called "Authors in the School". She read books, sketched il- lustrations and answered a variety of questions from the students who gathered in the library to meet her. While in Huron County, Ms. Day also visited Robertson Memorial, Brookside and Holmesville public schools.
