Cascade Theatre Company, based in Toronto, travelled to the school to present "The Scatterbrain Bookie" a play about the life of a poor, young girl named Bookis and her family who lived iI Toronto during the years of the Depression: Performing in the play were Lezlie Wle, David Jorgenson and Valerie Jorgenson. Students from Sacred Heart in Wingham, St. Jospeph's in'Kingsbridge and St. Joseph's in Clinton also attended the play.
