per cent of their average and took seven
points. Big games from Bev Whetstone 207,
Mary Lynne Telford 222, Barb Almasi 253.
Dorothy Bourdeau had a big night with 200,
249, 248, 697 triple and Shirley Kennedy 325,

Wednesday Mixed
Only two weeks to go and the standings
are tight with Happy Gang in the lead with
112. Newcomers Pt two follow with 102 then
Janet's Jokers 97, A & P 94, CE -DJ's 84,
Park House 83, UNO 48 and Scario's 40.
Cherly Smith was POA champ this week as
she rolled 775 for 272 POA. Other excellent
games were bowled by Steve Allen 276, 290
and 229 for 795., Lee Fry 259,'Marj Smith 294,
Brad Otterbien 258, Linda Rodger 748, Lee
Ryan 290, John Allen 301, and Earl Penn-
ington 225.

First place is still up for grabs as Maybe

65. High pinfall for the night went to Jerry

Eleanor Erskine's Monday night curling
team of Helen Dickie, Emily Crew and Bill
Darrow defeated the top-ranked Jack
Kellough team to win the McGee trophy.
The trophy was presented by Alvin
McGee.
In the B section Karen Kirk's team of
Cathy Murdock, Joan Hibbert and Mary
Metcalf defeated Mark Lassali'ne's
"Firemen" team to, win the B side of the
curling 'competition.
The Ladies Tuesday morning curling
section hosted the Ripley club to curling
and luncheon Tuesday, March 24th. Karen
Kirk's team of Donna Finnegan, Bev Jef-
frey and Maribelle Cranston won the'draw
and were presented with prizes by Presi-
dent, Faye Ribey. .
Vicki Culbert's team of MaryMletcalfe,
Eileen Beauchemin , and Betty McPhee
were second.
On Wednesday, March 25 twenty-four
ladies attended a closing jitney and the an-.
nual meeting was held. One .slate of of-
ficers for the coming year are:

Goderich Tweri lose 3
carnes at Tournarnent,
Goderich Tweens lost all three games in
the Regional Ringette . Tournament last
weekend in Dufferin.
Trish Rumig was a bright spot for he
team, scoring six goals in the tournament,
including the Tween's only goals in, a 4-2
loss to:Belmont.
St. Thomas blasted Goderich 8-2 in a
penalty filled contest.
Ruling scored from Angela Harrison and
an individual effort by Christina Melick
rounded out the Tween's scoring.
Goderich did not have an easier time
with London as they lost 8-4.

The Goderich Machinist Atoms finished
their season last weekend ata tournna-,''

Indheir first game they were defeated by
Clinton 6-3. Bill Ingham scored twice with
•a single going to David Boyce. .
They lost to Walkerton in overtime, 4-3
on the consolation side. Chris Dicksbn
scored two goals with Bill Ingham getting
the single.
