The trophy was presented by Alvin McGee. In the B section Karen Kirk's team of Cathy Murdock, Joan Hibbert and Mary Metcalf defeated Mark Lassali'ne's "Firemen" team to, win the B side of the curling 'competition. The Ladies Tuesday morning curling section hosted the Ripley club to curling and luncheon Tuesday, March 24th. Karen Kirk's team of Donna Finnegan, Bev Jef- frey and Maribelle Cranston won the'draw and were presented with prizes by Presi- dent, Faye Ribey. . Vicki Culbert's team of MaryMletcalfe, Eileen Beauchemin , and Betty McPhee were second. On Wednesday, March 25 twenty-four ladies attended a closing jitney and the an-. nual meeting was held. Goderich Tweri lose 3 carnes at Tournarnent, Goderich Tweens lost all three games in the Regional Ringette . Tournament last weekend in Dufferin. Trish Rumig was a bright spot for he team, scoring six goals in the tournament, including the Tween's only goals in, a 4-2 loss to:Belmont. St. Thomas blasted Goderich 8-2 in a penalty filled contest. Ruling scored from Angela Harrison and an individual effort by Christina Melick rounded out the Tween's scoring. Goderich did not have an easier time with London as they lost 8-4. Bill Ingham scored twice with •a single going to David Boyce. . They lost to Walkerton in overtime, 4-3 on the consolation side. Chris Dicksbn scored two goals with Bill Ingham getting the single.
