Robinson said time, energy and money is saved, because very little water is left to boil out. Robinson has been. in business for 12 years and his wife Susan, daughter Jen- nifer.and father Edward help out during, maple season. Edward Robinson takes care of the other end of the family business, beef cattle and cash crops. However. Robinson said the money is in maple syrup and accounts for three quarters of the family's income. Robinson cautioned anyone starting a maple business. It is very expensive and a government guide book said start up;cost is about $10 per tap. Council approves music festival Goderich Town Q)uncil has given ap- proval for the 8th alnual Optimist Music Festival, sponsored by the Goderich and District Optimist Cltb, to be held July 1-4. As in previous years, the tour -day festival will be held at Optimist Riverside Park on Maitland Road. A refreshment tent, serving beer, is planned for the event.
