In support of this event, TVUntario celebrates the week with a full array of special programming. Kicking off the week Sunday, 26 April at noon EDT is "Tete de linotte" from L'En- fance en dif'fi.culte series. This program is the story of a young girl with learning disabilities related to hearing, and all the difficulties that invade her life, especially in her relationships with parents and friends. L'education, c'est toi et moi follows at 2:30 p.m. with a visit to the 1985 Ontario Educa- tion Bair in Prescott -Russell. Educators from Welland and Windsor discuss how education involves everyone at all stages of the process. Monday, 27 April at 6:30 p.m. marks the premiere of the first of 'four new science utilization programs that show educators at the primary, junior, intermediate, and 'Senior school levels how 'TVUntario science series can be used in the classroom to help meet the new government directions for science in education. Each program features excerpts from TVO science series, interviews with teachers, .classroom demonstrati,ons, and interviews with such high-profile personalities as Minister of Education Sean Conway and Nobel Prize winner John Polanyi. Only two full, time peo-' ple keep the whole organization running: Artistic Director Katherine .KaSzas and General Manager Tirn Chapman: They are helped ,by' two part-time secretaries, Gloria Westerhout of Summerhill and Karen Stewart of Blyth..Bat starting in January of each year, the straff gradually increases un- til by summer there is a full complement of administrative and box office personnel. Philippa Borgal ( formerly 'a Blyth resi- dent but currently living year round at Lake Huron) 'has returned for her fourth season as publicity director. She is in her final year of the arts administration pro- gram at the University of Waterloo, the four Months' with the Blyth Festival being her final work placement. Bernice Pa.Sschier of Blyth is `also studying in Kitchener, at Sir Wilfrid Laurier University. She will be returning this surruner as House Manager for the Blyth Festival. This joint'venivure will. be repeated this year through Experience '87'. The Festival ' also uses the services of local students -during the summer months, and for the fall/spring concerts, as ushers.
