As temperatures soared on the weekend, people were able to get
outdoors and, in some cases, partake of their favorite summer
sports'. While many confined their activity to walking along the
beach 'or cycling others took advantage of the weather to play ten-
nis or .golt at the Maitland Country Cluh. The top six holes were
open to the public on the weekend and the tennis courts were busy.
