Reverend.G. L. Royal gave the blessing. Joyce opened the meeting with prayer and Love Divine was sung, accompanied by Bet- ty Coulter. Suzanne German read a poem and a paraphrase on Proverbs 13:7. Betty Helesic read from John 3:14-21 and Lucille Henderson read Leviticus 19:11-18. Sandy Davidson read a story about God's Love - -His Son" and also a Hymn by Robert Harkness "Why Should He Love Me So." The Hymn "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" was sung. Joyce Thorn. introduced Reverend Royal who spoke on "Compelled". This was his 27th appearance, for the annual New Years message and it was timely, in that it is his last, before retiring later this year. He spoke about worship and witness which is an intrical part of our lives. He asked "What does the church stand for?" and said it is built on personal, singular and a private faith and there has to be a persorial—ex..... perience. He went on to say we are con- fronted by the living God who makes us feel precious before Him. He, stressed that we have a privilege to say yes or no to God. He concluded saying, where is God's, still small voice in all the racket of music? This is solved by being in prayer and preparation before God. "Here 1 am, use me", Joyce reminded the group that March 6 is the Women's World Day of Prayer at the Christian Reformed Church at 2 pm. Winnie Walters group in in charge uf the next meeting, March 16. The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction. ak• st ES Step with Today's Shopper WE ACCEPT ALL FOOD STORE COUPONS CANADA GRADE A Large Eggs DOZEN off GOLDEN FRY SKINLESS PURE PORK OR MAPLE Maple Le 500. g PKg aus TOMATO Heinz Ketchup 75OrnL-BTL 0,js41't Vt" isttt VAIS Side Bacon g00 g p, c, - 2 9 A,SLip,ERB, BLEND RICH IN BRAZILIAN COFFEES NOTHING BEATS THE BEAN 8 O'Clock Coffee fisviggi.; *Oa TOMATO K C H U P f.HUP ' TOM Al' S ANC A&P Tomato Juice dgfeeilif07- I STEAKU,MM.ALL BEEF (14 oz 379! 0..79 Sandwich Sti_eak .0 oz pNg Ls I OFF 4811 oz tin T G U< f E E HT O C4( f E E WITH COUPON FROZEN ASSORTED INCL CHOCOLATE & BANANA F'eppendge Farm Layer Cakes PRICE 369 a P g rirfinaggillaittEF HAJE: CANADA NO 1 PRODUCT OF CHILE SWEET JUICY • Red Plums 218, , POWDERED, LAUNDRY SCENTED OR UNSCENTE:i) Tide Detergent ride vireg€1''' I b C.
