1986-87 boys' basketball season with a 45-40,
loss to the Stratford Northwestern Huskies
in -the Huron -Perth Conference: sudden-,
death" semi-finals in Stratford, last

and Mark Sybersma had 12.
Stratford led 27-20 at half tirn°e and took a

The Goderich ion Peewees completed a
busy schedule last week With- games
against Ainher stburi;, Strathroy and ,play
in the 'Mitchell liec'tece tournament.
In the' playoff game in Anrlierstburg, it
turned, out to be a spinoff of the physical
game -'in Goderich.-Amherstburg-broke-
• open 0 2-1 contest after two periods to win
4-1. The Lions lone goal was'Scored by Kel-
ly MacDonald on 0 powerplay with Aaron
Duckworth and..Jet-erny Grasby assisting.
At home Wednesday against Strathroy,
the' Lions. scored three goals in a minute
'and 20 seconds with only three minutes left
in regulation time'ti) earn a3-'3 tie.

. Kelly MacDonald made the most of his
opportunities scoring -five goals and
assisting on the other by Bloch. Goderich
had numerous chances to put the score into
double- figures -but -the -Kitchener -goalie
kept the game respectable.
