Mr. and Mrs. Richard Snell
Glenyce Bainton, of Blyth, and Richard Snell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Snell of Hullet
Township, were united in marriage August 18, 1962 at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Clinton.
Mr. and• Mrs. Paul Likes
:'•renda Harrison, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Earl Harrison of. Goderich, married
Paul Likes, son of Mrs. Russell Likes of
Arizona and Mr. Russell Likes' of Virginia,
on November 30, 1974 in London:` The
bride's wedding gown was white satin with
an over dress, of 'scalloped lace with rose,,,
buds on the front yoke an'd the cuffs of the
sleeves. The neck and,cufffS had nylon '
sleeves. The'head piece as satin and lace
covered with embroidered roses. The train •
was cathedral length with a lace ,edge.:
Following the wedding in. London, a recep-
tion was held ,at•the Goderich arena. The
three-tier wedding cake had a 'staircase of
ushers and bridesmaids ' coming down one
side with the traditional bride and groom in
an archway of lily of the valley on top.
Mr. and Mrs. Werner Albert
Eleanor. and Werner Albert were married
on December 9, 1944' in Marktretiwitz,
Bavaria, Germany. Many brid.es of the time
wore:4 crown of real mistletoe toWhich their
eils were attached. Eleanor carried.a bou-
quet of white cyclamen and fern. Mr. Albert
died in 1985. Mrs. Albert resides •. in
Goderich.
