"There i.s not going to be an easy solution to the problem," Mr. Takalo said, adding . that the hospital cannot have a smoking and non-smoking cafeteria and lounge'due to space problems. Board chairman Richard Ottewell said, "I think it is an important issue" and add- ed that it had to be dealt with as soon as •possihle. Mr. Takalo noted that the committee • would he doing a feasibility study on the smoking problem and that the board could expect recommendations from the Management Committee at the board's March meeting.
