Many of you contributed to our . annual Christmas Bureau, which our Agency ad- ministers and coordinates throughout the County. This year we assisted about 275 families and 625 children with food, clothing and toys.. Neither of those will directly net Goderich income, but before,we leave our hotel (Bed- ford') its dining room, various restaurants, antique shops and a gas station have have benefitted by our visit. Goderich would do well to keep its own character, rather than try out bits and disassociated- pieces of mindless entertain- ment that would erode its uniqueness. My personal opinion is that it is like put- ting a bandaid on a major incision to stop the issue. In short, it's like locking the barn after the horse has been stolen.
