Police discuss "Safety for Seniors"
during MCentre's nnua
The movie was made in Hollywood and Con-
stable Marshall pointed out that luckily here
in Goderich our crime rate is very low but
sensible precautions can help prevent
crime. One of the main problems in this
area is vehicle theft and we can prevent this'
by always locking our cars. To cut down the
risk ofa break-in, leave an exterior light on
over outside doors and don't forget to con-.
tact neighbours and the police. if you are
planning' a long trip and most important,
never fight with an intruder. Marion Biggin,
thanked the constables for their interesting
and .helpful presentation.
Margaret Swan. introduced Audrey-Ket-r
and Francis Schram who entertained
everyone with a piano/violin duet. The au-
dience then sang a medley of Scottish songs
and Francis Schram closed the eveings pro-
gram with a couple of toe -tapping tunes on
the violin.
