Harrison said the good times for the local construction industry could be, ex- pected to carry on into 1987, based on the upswing of . th.e past two.years and the number and scope 'of upcoming projects under consideration. He points to expansion at the local water treatment plant and ,the Huron County un Pioneer 'Museum as major building pro- jects for the coming year. The'construc- tion value of those two projects alone will be between two•and three million dollars, he said. "We should have a full slate for the -next few. months," said Harrison.:''There are a lot of things being discussed that' permits have not been' applied for yet." wn I'he construction of this $1.2 million apartment building on i-lincks Street, was one of a number of building projects which pushed the value of construction activity to a record -high v.epr in Goderich during 1986.
