position in London, moved his house-

Sir John Carling, who was in Ot-
tawa, last week, when crossing
Bank street, opposite the "Two
Macs," was struck by a bicycle and
thrown upon bis back to the street
His injuries were very slight, con-
sisting of a bruise of hiss elbow. He
was able to get up unaided and pass
on to his house in the city.
Mrs. Elizabeth J. Couch Tinck
the fourth wife of the alleged biga-
mist at Windsor has disappeared
She was stopping with a family at
24 Windsor St., and on Thursday
afternoon last she left taking some
of her effects with her, saying she
would be back soon. It is supposed
that Mrs. Tinck had probably gone
to her home near Chiselhurst, Ont.
