Christmas a riot, never quiet
Christmas at my house is always a riot I
know that because it's never quiet. I rush
down stairs about 3 in the morning giving
the rest of my family a big warning that I'm
up. I always wake up my brother and sisters
because they always want to see what's
under the tree. Sometimes someone is brag-
ging about having the biggest presents but
then I would say the smaller the better
Christmas is..
unless it was mine. When our parents hear
all this noise, they come down stairs and tell
us to go to bed, but I have trouble getting to
sleep because all I can think of is what is in-
side my presents. After our parents finally
get up, we get to open our presents. I really
enjoy all the presents I get and also playing
with them throughout the day. I also enjoy
the hip Chrictmaa dinner After that we ait
and talk about everything that happened
that day. But when we have to go to bed, all
the fun is over and we have to wait another
year. Wouldn't it be nice if Christmas came
once a month.

.a time to celebrate Jesus' birthday
by Verena Roth
St. Joseph's Separte School
Christmas is a time when Jesus's birthday
is celebrated. We go to church to celebrate
His birthday.
On Christmas day our family gathers
together to open presents. We also have a
special meal. My mom roasts a delicious
turkey and makes potatoes and vegetables.
For dessert we have cake, cookies and other
tasty sweets.
We have a holiday from school. I hope we
have snow so that I can play outside in it.
These are some of the things I like about
Christmas.

...a time to pray and remember
By Tyson Miller
St. Joseph's Separate School
Christmas is happiness, when Jesus was
born. Sometimes Christmas is fun and even
better when you get presents but most of all,
it is a time to pray and remember about
Jesus' birth. And that's what Christmas
means to me!
...the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ
By Paul McLean
St. Joseph's Separate School
Christmas is giving. Sometimes we forget
the true meaning of Christmas which is not
a fat man in a red suit coming down the
chimney saying, "Ho, ho, ho!" and bringing
toys. That's a important part too but it's rel-
ly the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the
Savior. So next time lets think of the true
meaning and' have a happy and holy
Christmas.
...giving and sharing with everyone
By Lisa Nolan
St. Joseph's Separate School
Christmas means Jesus is born. Let's
celebrate. It's time for everybody to give
and share with everyone.
There are neat presents and candy too.
There is usually snow for buiding forts and
snowmen, making snow sculptures, mazes
and snow angels. These things are done with
friends.
I think Christmas and holidays at
Christmas are good. I have still many more
ideas in my head. These are only a few.

Christmas means a time of year when you
drive through the town and everything is so
bright and beautiful. It is a busy time when
we decorate our house and tree, go shopping

Last Christmas was best
My Best Christmas
Last year was the best Christmas. It was
at Grandma Pat's house. All my relatives
were there. After we opened the presents all
the adults went to a movie or something.
Grandma Nabors came to look after us.
While they were at movie aunt Joan brought
her VCR out and we watched "Back to the
Future." We got pop and chips. We couldn't
have a lot of pop in our glass because we
were in the good room and it had white fur-
niture. When the adults got back about 11:00
we were almost asleep. I think Craig and
Sara were. About 12:00 every one went
home or went to sleep.
