My mother says, "No you'll have to wait!" My sister says, "Pretty please with a cherry on top!" "No!" exclaims Mom. My sister starts pouting but she gets over it in no time. By the way, for you people that don't know my sister, she's 16 years old and should win a scholarship for the world's best con artist. OK, you know what my mother and sister are like. Now I'll tell you about my dad. My dad is a quiet guy who has biceps the size of a mountain, the world's greatest pitching arm, 200 trophies for arm wresting. (I don't know where he keeps them). I think I've told you enough about my Siike wishes all a Merry Christmas Sitting on my bed, I looked at the presents before I put them under the tree. It was Christmas Eve and mom, dad, my brother Scott and me were almost ready to go to church. My mother knocked on the door. "Sara are you ready?" Mom asked. I was wearing my pink pastel pants, my baby blue sweater, and pink fashion earrings. Later in the car, we discussed what the concert at church was going to be. After the concert, we went home. Mom made us a little snack, while we were wat- ching VCR movies from last year at Christmas. After that we went to bed. The next morning we got up at 8:00 o'clock. Dad got his gloves, scarf, and a movie called, "Beverly Hills Cop 4." Mom got 12 pairs of earrings, a portable t.v., and a cookbook for her microwave. Scott discovered a skateboard, a walkman, and some clothes. Best Christmas was recent In 1987, we went to my Grandma and Grandpa's house. First we had a good feast. Then we opened our presents. We got a lot of things. Then we watched T.V. and ate popcorn. Now I'll tell you about what we do for Christmas. At about 6:30 my sister and I race down stairs at top speed. Usually I stub my toe but I don't care, I'm too excited. We then take turns going to the bathroom. I flush the toilet 2 or 3 times to be sure that I wake my mom and dad up. The whole family then goes into the living room to tear open some packages. After all the oos and ah's and thank yous, we go into the kitchen for some breakfast. After breakfast I go and look over all the things I got. Some years we have gone to my grandma's and grandpa's house for Christmas. A few days later after everything has been cleaned up we start to talk about Easter coming. • Twin City School of ' Hairstyling , . Waterloo, Ont. *Hairstyling •Barbering •Ear Piercing • Make-up 55 Erb' St. East %886-6305 Monday. to Friday 1 A INVESTMENTS FINANCIAL CENTRE 122 The Square Goderich 524-2773 i-800-255-5503 Yuletide Greetings To know and serve you this past year was a true delight.
