Seaforth again came back, tying the game
2-2.
In the third period Clinton and.Seaforth
battled it out once more. Clinton wasn't
giving anything to Seaforth and Seaforth
was not giving anything to Clinton. With 53
seconds left in the third period, Seaforth
popped one in.
The game ended at Clinton 2, Seaforth 3.
Seaforth Novice Tournament
On November 27, Clinton played their
first game of the tournament against
Wingham. Clinton's Steven King got the
first and only goal of the first period,
assisted by Chad Chipchase and Trevor
Buruma.
The shots on goal, after the first period:
Clinton 4; Wingham 1.
The second period opened up a bit more
with Wingham scoring first, tying the
game.
Clinton was quick to come back just a lit-
tle over a minute later when Steven King
got his second of the game, unassisted.
The score board remained Clinton 2,
Wingham 1 until Clinton's Chad Chipchase
put one past them with 56 seconds left in
the second period.
The shots on goal in the second: Clinton
7, Wingham 3.
The third period was close checking,
with neither side giving anything away.
With 3:36 left in the third period, Clinton's
Chad Chipchase scored. This was Chad's
second of the game.
The shots on goal in the third: Clinton 4,
Wingham 2.
Clinton won their first game of the tour-
nament with Clinton 4, Wingham 1.
On November 28, Clinton played their se-
cond game of the tournament against
Forest.
Forest opened the scoring at 8:59 of the
second period.
Both teams battled back and forth and at
the 3:29 mark of the second period, Clinton
got on the score board. Clinton's Jeff Lobb
scored, assisted by Darryl DeRuyter.
The seeond period ended at Clinton 1,
Forest 1.
Forest again started the scoring in the
third period with a goal at the 4:48 mark
and again with another goal at the 4:25
mark. Forest was now leading Clinton 3-1.
With 2:47 left in the third period, Clin-
ton's Chad Chipchase scored, assisted by
Joey MacDonald and Steven King.
Clinton dominated the last two mingtes
of the third period, but failed to put
another past Forest.
The final score was Forest 3, Clinton 2.
Clinton's goaltender Matt Wieckowski
played another fine game.

On November 23 Ann de Weerd had the
high single for the ladies with 279, while
Marion van Wyk had the high triple at 612,
and Stien de Weerd had the high average
of 189. For the men, Clarence Roorda had
the high single with 286, as well as the high
triple at 640, while Angus Hummel had the
high average of 204.
Those bowlers who rolled games over
200 included: Ann de Weerd, 279; Marion
Snieder, 252; Marion van Wyk, 251; Ro-
mayne McClinchey, 249; Stien de Weerd,
235; Tina van Dyke, 208; Rita van Dyke,
204; Freda Buffinga, 203; Jenny Kaastra,

Dorothy Airdrie was the top bowler for
the ladies on November 25 with the high
single of 270, the high triple at 629 and the
high average of 195. One bowler also came
out on top for the men as Steve Gibbings
had the high single of 288, the high triple at
775 and the high average of 210.

On November 24 Janet Taylor had the
high singles with scores of 386 and 244, as
well as the high triple at 789, while Helen
Hutchings had the high average of 201. In
the runner-up spots, Marj McNall had the
high single with 233 and the high triple at
594, while Janet Taylor had the high
average of 195. The most improved bowler
was Dorie Blake with plus 16, and the
runner-up was Janet Taylor with plus 14.
Bowling games over 200 were: Dorothy
Airdrie, 210, 215; Joan Caldwell, 203;
Susan Proctor- 205. Janet Taylor, 244, 386;
Novice B's defeat Belgrave 7 - 2
The Clinton Novice B team recently
travelled to Blyth to take on the team from
Belgrave, and came home with a 7-2
victory.
It proved to be an exciting game to
watch as everyone was making their
passes, and each member of the Clinton
team got a point.
Clinton had 17 shots on the Belgrave net,
while Belgrave only returned with seven of
their own.
As the team is coming together, they are
hoping to see many people out for their
game on December 19 when they take on
Brussels.
