to present, Natalie Needs A Nightie
No, these two are not dancing, rather they are rehearsing for the upcoming Clinton Com-
munity Players performance of Natalie Needs A Nightie. In actual fact, Stephen Oliver,
who plays Jimmy, is trying to be romantic with his new love, Natalie, or in real life Ber-
nie Pugh, Be sure to catch a performance on December 3, 4 and 5. (Anne Chisholm photo)

CLINTON - If the name of the play isn't
enough to get you out to the upcoming Clin-
ton Community Players production, maybe
a brief discrlption of the plot will do the
trick.
Natalie Needs A Nightie is a play that en-
sures laughter. Picture Stephen Oliver in a
dress, Rev. David Woodall with the title
Juniper J. Juniper and an entire cast doing,
and saying, some off the wall things.
The plot itself will bring a smile or two to
one's face.
Briefly, the play is about a bachelor who
has to be married to keep his job. Of course,
since he is a bachelor, he is obviously not
married. This fact doesn't cause too many
problems until the boss decides to come and
visit.
Upon hearing this news, the bachelor tries
to find a wife, for a short period of time.
After much persuading, he does convince a
few people to don a dress, but in the end, the
timing is off.
Between clothes disappearing, people tak-
ing off their clothing at the wrong time, and
a fun loving east, Natalie Needs A Nightie
should prove to be a good night out.
The cast of the Clinton Community
Players' second play consists of: Rev.
David Woodall playing Juniper J. Juniper;
Ian Fowles playing Tommy Briggs; Bernie
Pugh playing Natalie Newsome; Stephen
Oliver as Jimmy Wilson; Jeff Hearn as John
Watson; Barb Guse as Rosebud; Shirley
Fowles as Thomasa Briggs.
The cabaret style performance will be
held December 3, 4 and 5 starting at 8 p.m.
in the town hall auditorium. Tickets can be
obtained from any cast member or Frank
Cameron at 482-5725 or at the town hall for $5
each. Tickets are limited.

as a night performance. More information
at a later date.
Maitland Block
At the beginning of the year the Grade 7s
and 8s took a trip to the Maitland Block. The
Grade 7s day consisted of some orienteer-
ing, some research of the Block's history
and a lunch.
The Grade 8s day consisted of a survival
game, a cemetery study, a Weiner roast, a
singing contest, a campfire and a ghost
story.
Both days were full of fun. Special thanks
to Mr. Addisson for organizing it.
