He was 58 years old. Mr. Lovett was born in Clinton on July 30, 1929 to the late William Calvin and Edith May ( Harvey 1 Lovett. On February 14, 1949 he married the former Amy Marie Carrick in Clinton. After their marriage, they moved to Toronto in 1957 and Murray has resided there ever since. In. 1964, the couple separated. Mr. Lovett, who was a shipper -receiver for Prime Packers, is survived by four daughters, Carol and her husband Bruce Barbour of White Rock, B.C., Bonnie McGarry of Cobourg, Lynn and Debbie Lovett, both df Toronto, and three sons, William, Alan and Robert and his wife Eva, all of Toronto. He is also survived by eight grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Hoss of Clinton and Barry of Ottawa. He was predeceased by one sister, Mrs. Harvey ( Maureen) Hayter. A funeral service was held on September 12 at Ball and Falconer Funeral Horne, Clin- ton, with Rev. David Woodall officiating. Pallbearers were William Lovett, Alan Lovett, Robert Lovett, Ross Lovett, Barry Lovett and .John Henry. Interment in Clinton Cemetery. Mrs. Presseau is survived by her hus- band, Martin, of Cambridge and children Angela and Kari James of Goderich. She was the daughter of Robert and Mary Hollenbeck of Goderich and the sister of Robert and Linda Hollenbeck of Wingham and Bill and Mary Ann Hollenbeck of Goderich. Rnr.dln'.rrir. nr Rr-necr.lc A funeral service was held at McCallum and Palla Funeral Home, Goderich, on September 5 with Captain Clark of the Salvation Army, Goderich, officiating with the assistance of Pastor Woodcock of the Calvary Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Earl Hoy, Fred Pottle, Pierre Chagnon, Larry Watson, Doug St. Louis and Doug Dickson. Interment at Maitland Cemetery, Goderich. Pearl celebrates 85th HUHONVIEW - Summer is nearly over and fall is fast approaching. Evidence of this is the sudden changing of the color of the leaves and already some of the trees are being stripped of their leaves. But it has been a beautiful summer, more like the old- fashioned kind we used to have in spite of the intense heat at times. Sunday afternoon, relatives and friends gathered in the auditorium where they honored Pearl McNall who celebrated her 85th birthday. Her grandchildren were all there as well, who added mirth and spirit to this big event. Monday being a holiday, everyone was free to do his or her own thing. A joyous party was held Wednesday after- noon for the ladies of Huron Heights. In the evening a Heart to Heart meeting was held in the auditorium. Regardless of your politics, everyone at Huronview had the chance to vote for his or her party man on September 10. In the after- noon, members from the Ontario Street United Church had a get-together in the auditorium. Another successful Tupperware demonstration took place over the noon hour in Bayview lounge. Rev. John Pluta conducted Roman Catholic Mass in the chapel Friday morn- ing. In the afternoon, some residents went to Blyth for. the Threshermen's Reunion. A family dinner was held at the White Carnation in their honor. Special Guests were brother Allan and wife Betty from Vancouver, Edwin and his wife Jean from Seaforth. As well a nephew, Ken, came from Los Angeles, California to share this happy occasion, also a niece, Beth Rose, and husband Jack from Mitchell. The family consisting of Stanley and June Johns of Seaforth, Eleanor and Lloyd Reibl- ing of Baden, Anson and Evelyn McKinley of Zurich and Gordon and Dianne Jahns of New Hamburg were present to share this wonderful occasion. Also attending were 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Howard and Anna have lived all the 60 years on their farm in Tuckersmith Township where they settled as a bride and groom on September 10, 1927. Sharon Chuter and Ruth Johnson led the worship on the theme called September and Going Back To School with three readings. The Scripture reading was from Proverbs 4 and a hymn was sung. Sharon passed out verses of a poem and everyone took part, each reading a verse. They ended the worship with a prayer and then served everyone a fruit salad. Next meeting is October and .Jane David- son from Bayfield will he speaking on India.
