The 15th Annual Galilean Service, organized by the St. James, Middleton congregation,
will be one not soon Girgotten. August 9 was the first time in the event's history that it
could not be held outdoors, thanks to the weatherman. However, the service went as
schedule in the church. The St. Luke's Folk Group (top) provided music. The group con-
sisted of (hack, left) Fred MacPherson, Roger Douthwaite, (front, left), Betty MacPher-
son, choral conductor Lin Carr and Jim Carr. Helping to make the church even more at-
tractive was Lynda Earley (left), daughter-in-law of Margaret Middleton. After each
Galilean service, a picnic is held, and even though one woutf think the weather would
have cancelled this, the congregation gathered in the church basement and enjoyed an
indoor picnic. At right, Estelle Wise and Blanche Uceves cut into a watermelon. (Anne
