Daisy Holland lead in prayer and Edna Stewart read the Scripture lesson. Several interesting readings were given by Daisy Holland, Edna Stewart and Bessie Steepe. Jean Livermore whose group was in charge, gave an interesting talk on the work of Ernie Gilmore in Africa at Camp Bete. He is now in Canada connected with Victoria Hospital but returns to Africa to continue his work there. Jean Livermore told of the work of three nurses in Africa and the wonderful work performed by them especially among the women and of the primitive equipment with which they must work - a far cry from the expensive tools required by our hospitals in our country and yet these three dedicated people perform miracles, saving lives and tending thc sick with a minimum of what we call necessities. The ladies closed the meeting with the Mizpah Benediction and the program for the day began. Mrs. Zablocki, with her talented dancer Andrea Fitzgerald, delighted the ladies with Andrea dressed in different costumes for three dances. For so young a dancer. An- drea put on a superb performance. It was all greatly appreciated. Bess Fingland thanked Mrs. Zablocki for her kindness and Andrea for her giving so much pleasure. The ladies then enjoyed the garden, Mrs. Bechtel took some pictures of the garden and ladies. After this, supper was served by hostess Bess Fingland.
