meeting was held on June 10 and was con-
ducted by First Vice President Marjorie
Anderson.
Special guests included the Huron County
Dairy Princess, Angela Nethery, and 441
Club members.
Miss Nethery told of her activities as the
Dariy Princess. She conducted a contest
that tested dairy knowledge then told how
ice cream is made.
She also spoke about calcium needs in the
diet and handed out recipes for vegetable
cheese dip. Fresh vegetables and dip were
served.
Miss Nethery was thanked by Margaret
Taylor and presented with a gift.
Darlene Hulley of the 441 Sewing Plus
Club explained about the making of
garments and each club member modelled
the outfits that they had made. The girls in-
cluded Cindy Campschroer, Theresa Knox,
Darlene Hulley, Teresa VanBakel, Marlene
Mayberry, Shana Lee Ten Hag.
Past and present leaders are Helen
Lawson, Sandra Mayberry, Darlene Hulley,
Elizabeth Lawson and Joanne Campschroer
were given gifts by Lois Elliott on behalf of
the WI.
In other business, Helen Lawson reported
on the WI District Annual Meeting which
was held in Blyth on May 25. The meeting
focussed on the heritage of agriculture. Theme
Londesboro WI sponsored a craft table at
the event which realized $60.
The fall rally will be held in Londesboro on
October 5 and the spring meeting will take
place in Auburn.
In regular meetitw hnsiness. 1Q members
answered the roll call and Alice Buchanan
gave the report from the last meeting. Cor-
respondence included a letter of thanks
from Dora Shobbrook from the Butler
Project.
It was agreed to donated $25 to the Clinton
Public Hospital. Also it was moved by Hazel
Reid to purchase awards for the Hullett Cen-
tral School Grade 8 graduates.
A gift was presented to Hattie and Harry
Snell -in honor of their 40th wedding anniver-
sary, to be marked on June 21.
Margaret Taylor was congratulated on
being named the 1987-'88 District President
of the Huron West WI.

Crawford and Carol in Burlington.
Bob and Audrey Thompson attended the
CNIB picnic in Mitchell on June 10.
Raymond and Beth Radford of London
spend the weekend with her parents. Mr.
and Mrs. Bob Thompson and attended the
funeral on June 13 of Mrs. Hoawrds Welch of
Moorefield.

the 50th wedding anniversary of Lloyd and
Winona Pipe on June 144 held at the Nor-
thside United Church in Seaforth.
The Londesboro and Hullett Township
Flowers of Hope Campaign for the South
Huron District Association for the Mentally
Handicapped was held recently. The can-
vass raised $1,213.50 for the cause.
People report
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pitkin, David and
Christopher of Auburn spent the weekend
with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bob Burns in
Londesboro.
Many parents and friends attended the
piano recital for students of Marsha Szusz
on June 12.
It was been decided by the Hullett Recrea-
tion Committee to cancel Hullett Days this
year.

4-H News
The sixth and final meeting of the
Londesboro 4-H Sewing Plus Club was held
on May 11 at the home of Joanne
Campschroer. f'
The meeting was opened with the 4-H
pledge and business was discussed. The roll
call was taken with members telling what
iterna, other than clothes, could be sewn.
Secondly, the roll call asked each member
to name someone who sewed a lot, and third-
ly by explaining what they sewed.
The topic of the meeting was how to score
the finished skirt. Judging was also discuss-
ed, along with the procedure and how to give
explanations. The judging competition was
held on May 23 in Clinton. Achievement
Night was held in Wingham on June 2. - by
Theresa Knox.
