On the surface, Libby appears extremely confident and ar- ticulate. She tells Herb that she wants him to get her into pictures. Actually, unknown to her, Libby begins a process to salvage Herb. She finds a bit of lost love along the way. How they pick up the pieces of a father - daughter relationship makes for a very poignant, tender, and nevertheless very fun- ny story. They discover a great deal about each other and themselves. I Ought To Be In Pictures will be perform- ed at the Clinton Town Hall Auditorium, June 25, 26 and 27 - a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening. Performances begin pro- mptly at 8 p.m. If you are a subscriber, you will already have had a ticket set aside for you. The evening begins with a chicken barbecue with trimmings served up by the board of directors while special musical entertainment will be provided by musical directors, Michael Mulrooney and James Grey. Dessert and coffee will follow the silent and live auction, the highlight for those in attendance when they obtain their skillful bargains. Some of the many items include: two nights at The Constellation Hotel for two adults and two children, one season's use of a Kubota Riding Lawn Mower Tractor, one pair of adult water skiis, brass table lamp, private air show for 12 with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, hand made quilt, outdoor lawn furniture, gift certificates for several local restaurants, paintings, and many, many more items. This evening has been offered for $3.50 to subscribers and only $7 to anyone who would like to join in on the festivities. Tickets for this fun night -out are available by calling the Playhouse at 238-8451, before July 15. be staged entertainment series tickets still available for purchase. If you would like to purchase a four event ticket, the cost is only a modest $25. Call the town hall offices to reserve a ticket. If you would like to attend only the play and do not wish to purchase an entertain- ment series ticket, you can still take advan- tage of a great entertainment opportunity. Adult tickets for the play only are $5. per person. Students pay only $3. Seating is strictly limited each night and entertain- ment series ticket holders will have priority in selecting their night. Please call the town hall at 482-3997 during normal business hours to reserve or enquire about the availability of tickets. They will be more than happy to reserve tickets for you for a 24-hour period. If the December production is any indica- tion, tickets will sell out quickly. And is it any wonder? The Clinton Community Players provide the public with an evening of fine entertainment and hospitality all at bargain prices. Do not be left without a ticket.
