The Ministry of Transportation and Communications is calling tenders for sander trucks
and loaders for winter maintenance during winters of 1987/88 and 1988/89 as follows:
1) Trucks with min. R.G.V.W. 15,000 kg. suitable for mounting a Ministry 4.2 m3 sander body
at following locations:
One (1) truck - Mitchell, St. Marys, Guelph
2) Trucks with min. R.G.V.W. 22,000 kg. tandem rear axle suitable for mounting a Ministry
6.13 m3 sander body at following locations:
One (1) truck - Milverton, New Hamburg, Hickson
Two (2) trucks - Harriston, Goderich, Clinton, Grand Bend, Mitchell, Guelph
Three (3) trucks - Arthur, Listowel, Wingham
3) Loaders (without operators) - min. 1.15 m3 (11/2 c.y.), 4 wheel drive, diesel, max. 2.8 m
(9' 2") bucket width.
One each at: Arthur, Harriston, Listowel, Wingham, Goderich, Clinton, Grand Bend, Mit-
chell, St. Marys, Milverton, New Hamburg, Hickson, Guelph, Acton.
The successful bidder(s) for trucks must have P.C.V. class "R" license for the appropriate
region(s).
