His Excellency the Amhassahor of The Netherlands, Jan Bremer, was on hand with other visiting dignitaries to help with the official opening. Many of the local schools made their contributions to Klompen Feest through entering a float in the parade. Hullett Central School's Tribute to Agriculture float featured this travelling hand. I!triElf IJ 1 The Klnmpettes, part of the Huron -Perth New Canadian Club Klompen dancers, were part of the May 15•entertainment that took to the stage in the arena. In the Klnmpettes a're Kim Roersen, Melanie Segeren, Anne Marie Huitema and Michelle Koert. This float, from Sid Bruinsma Exc. Ltd. of Goderieh, was an eye balloons. Many out of town floats were entered in this year's catcher for the children in the audience with its abundance of parade. -A
