From page 44
Ann, 13, started when she was
only three years old.
The pair have taken classical
lessons as well as lessons to
play olde tyme fiddle music.
But that's not the end of their
talents. They also step dance,
clog and play the piano. Those
who attend Klompen Feest will
get a chance to see the sisters
step dance as well as fiddle.
Madonna and Carl Ann have
taken their talents to contests
and festivals, placing in the
Shelborne fiddle contest. They
have also participated in
Fergus, Stratford and Drayton
contests.
As for festivals, they have
been to Stratford, London and
Mitchell.
When at Klompen Feest be
sure to stop in at the arena on
May 15 between 9 - 9:15 p.m. to
see and hear the McQuaid
sisters perform.
