President Phyllis Tyndall opened the meeting with a poem. The creed and the Lord's Prayer were repeated in unison. The roll call was answered by 13 members and one visitor telling an April fools joke played on them. Marianne Colelough reported on a meeting she attended in Clinton for Emergency Sur- vival. A questionnaire was answered by the club and was to be returned to the Clinton Municipal Office. For program, Verna Gibbings gave a reading entitled Old Age [flus an Easter Con- test won by Phyllis Tyndall. Eve Merrill gave a reading entitled This days Fashions, plus a contest on what kind of cloth would you buy,: won by Marianne Colclough. Tina Nykamp gave two readings entitled Easter and Spring. The raffle was won by Jean Vodden. The next meeting will be held May 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the home of Verna Gibbings. The roll call is to be a plant exchange. Those on lunch and program are Joanne Salverda, Phyllis Tyndall and Gladis Van Egmond. The meeting closed and lunch was served and a social time was enjoyed. Summerhill Dessert Euchre The Surnrnerhill Ladies held a dessert euchre April 22 in the hall. Fifteen tables of cards were in play.
