4-H Sewing
Club holds ---
third meeting
By Theresa Knox
The third meeting of the Londesboro 4-H
Sewing Plus Club was held on April 20 at the
home of leader Joanne Campschroer.
The meeting was opened with the 4-H
pledge and the roll call was taken with a
sewing machine review quiz. The business
was then discussed and names for the club
were suggested.
Following this discussion the members
talked about sewing machine care, pro-
blems and solutions, as well as how to use
fusible interfacing, how to press seams, how
to seww seams and the many variations in a
finished seam.
The members then made a sample collar
using what they had learned.
