Over 60 exhibits will feature
Some things just keep getting better
with time.
That adage could easily apply to the
Goderich Home and Garden Show spon
sored by the Goderich Figure Skating
Club.
Last year the club hosted the first
home and garden show and offered an
ambitious program of events and varied
displays on the arena floor.
The 1987 edition of the Home and
Garden Show, the second annual, will
feature more exhibitors from Goderich
and surrounding area. There were 52 ex-
hibitors in the show last year and
organizer Heather Wheeler said this
year's edition will feature 68 booths on
the arena floor.
The show will run for three days begin-
ning at 6 p.m. Friday, April 24 through to
5 p.m. Sunday, April 26.
Besides exhibits from 68 businesses in
the area the show will also feature a tea
garden, free entertainment, karate and
aerobic demonstrations, and numerous
fashion sho*s sponsored by several area
clothing stores and boutiques.
The show will run form 6 to 9 p.m. Fri-
day; from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and
Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $1
for adults while children under 12 will be
admitted free.
On.Friday evening, a fashion show
featuring the fashions of Off Beat will
begin at 7:00 p.m. in the arena
auditorium and will be followed by a
show sponsored by The Old Mill of Blyth
at 7:30 p.m. At 8 p.m. there will be a
demonstration by members of Ron Tyn-
dall's Karate School.
Ori Saturday in the auditorium, enter-
tainment will be provided by Grant
Ellison's trio, Cool Energy, and will be
followed by a fashion show by
Rosemary's of Goderich at 2 p.m.
Anne Marie Blacker will provide an
aerobic demonstration at 3 p.m. and
karate will follow at 4 p.m. A fashion
show by Samantha's of Suncoast Mall
will wind up the evening at 7 p.m.
Children's apparel will be highlighted
in a 2 p.m. fashion show Sunday spon-
sored by Kid's World and fashions from
Samantha's will follow at 3 p.m.
