Last bingo for Queensway
It was Queensway Nursing Home's last
Monday afternoon Bingo with the Hensall
United Church ladies. The ladies
volunteered all during the month of March
to come in and help residents play their
favorite game.
Tuesday afternoon the weekly church ser-
vice was conducted by Mr. Cowan of Hensall
United Church. Mr. Cowan was accom-
panied on the piano by Joyce Pepper, and
together they treated residents to a lovely
duet. It was a very enjoyable afternoon.
On Wednesday morning residents woke up
to exercise to get them moving for the day.
Then in the afternoon it was time for the
monthly Drawing Club. This months' theme
were Easter Scenes. All of the creation
turned out beautifully!
Thursday afternoon started with one of
the very favorite programs - Choir Practice.
With the help of Joyce Pepper, and of course
the residents lovely voices, it all added up to
a very entertaining afternoon.
After Choir Practice all enjoyed the
"movie of the week", which was called
"Best Horse."
On Friday afternoon, with the help of
Caravan Clothing, Queensway put on a
fashion show. The models this time were;
Clayton Mathers, Rollie Grenier, Irene
Heaman, Muriel Gunning, and Mildred
Gingerich. All looked super, and not to men-
tion dapper! We'd like to thank all models
for doing a great job, as well as being good
sports!
Residents would also like to send out a
hearty thank -you to Lillian Baker of the
ladies auxiliary who volunteered her after-
noon to make the show a success.
