The Blyth Christian Reformed Church hosted an organ recital on
March 19 with members of The Royal Canadian College of
Organists from the Stratford Centre performing. The church's
head organist, Grace Datema, was one of the performers playing
during the recital. (David Emslie) ,
Couple celebrate 44th anniversary
Nine tables were in play at the weekly
euchre which was held in the WI Hall, on
April 1. Winners were: high lady - Olive
Bolt; novelty lady - Pearl Shiell; low lady -
Eva McGill; lucky draw lady - Mrs. George
Johnston; high man - Marj Coultes: novelty
rnan - Garner Nicholson: low man - Leslie
Vincent: lucky draw man - Stuart Chamney.
There will be euchre again this Wednes-
day starting at 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

BELGRAVE - A dinner honoring Bill and
Isabel Elston of Rti.5 Brussels, on their 90th
wedding anniversary ( which falls on April
8) was held at the Wingham Golf and Coun-
try Club on April 9. Attending the dinner
were Wayne and Lynda, Carolyn and Jac-
quelyn, Murray and Trudy, Jeannine, Erin,
Jim, Gillian and Sean, Wingham, Mary
Ellen Elston of Wingharn, Wayne Ross of
Harriston and Susan Elston of RR5
Brussels.
Brothers and sisters from, London, Arva,
Petrolia, Bluevale, Wingham were in
attendance.
An open house followed where the couple
received good wishes, cards, flowers and
gifts.
There were over 200 guests from the sur-
rounding area as well a Waterloo, Brigden,
Petrolia, Belgrave, Clinton and Seaforth.
The ladies of the Bluevale Presbyterian
Church served lunch.
Other honored guests at the dinner were
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bowman of RR 5
Brussels who celebrated their 61st wedding
anniversary, April 7, and (Aunt Mary Yuill
of Brussels. )

Mrs. George McGee and Mrs. Clifford
Logan spent the weekend at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Ralph Logan and family of
Wyoming.
On Sunday they attended the special UCW
service of 25 years, in Wyoming United
Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Doug Mitchell, Jeff and
Scott of Hanover visited on Sunday with her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Vincent.
