During March 17 bowling Tudy Wilson had
the high single with 278.and the high triple at
633 while Helen Faber had the high average
of 203. The hidden score prizes donated by
Dixie Lee Chicicen were won by Shirley
Fowles and Nancy Roy. Faber's Gumdrops
finished as season's champs and Helen's
Rosebuds were the runner-ups. Bev's
Bonkers were the low team. Three weeks of
playoffs will be played.

average of 182. Two bowlers also dominated
the Junior ranks as Colleen McAdam had
the high single for the ladies with 179, the
high triple at 451 and the high average of 160
while Doug Maguire had the men's high
single with 223, the high triple at 540 and the
high average of 174.

Subdivision may
be purchased
GODERICH TWP - Council here was ap-
proached by two gentlemen who are in-
terested in purchasing the Storey Subdivi-
sion during their March 16 meeting.
John Bjerg and Herb Brall were present
to discuss conditions relative to the subdivi-
sion. They were particularly interested in
finding out whether they would have to pave
the whole area or whether gravel could be
used.
A Tile Drain Loan for $20,045 was re-
quested by Renatta Noonan to drain part of
Lot 24 on Concession 1. Council moved that
the applrction be approved subject to the
availability of funds.
Two Highway 8 properties were also
discussed by council. Reg Smith was at the
meeting to explain his desire to move a
Wilding onto his garden centre property.
Council informed Mr. Smith that approval
-.could be obtained from the planning
de.r- rtmend through a building permit.
Th • r-ther .pisoperty under discussion was
that of Ge rge Wraith. He was present to in-
quire abou the possibility of severing a two
acre parce of land for the purpose of erec-
ting a body and paint shop. Council moved
that the clerk should investigate the zoning
aspects and confer with Mr. Wraith.
Accounts were ordered paid imthe amount
of $19,352.32.
