CLINTON - Current divorce rates attest to
the fact that marriage is not easy. That is
why the clergy in this area are urging
couples to attend a two-day premarriage
seminar being offered at Ontario Street
United Church in Clinton on April 4 and 11.
The seminar is sponsored by the ('hnton-
Scaforth Ministerial Association.
The co-ordinator for both sessions is Dave
Bradley who will be assisted by his wife.
Trixie. Their involvement in premarriage
preparation is rooted in the conviction that
it helps couples:
11 to become aware of their expectations
and presuppositions:
21 to learn to communicate more effec-
\ti.•ely; and
i
1 31 to understand what is needed to make a
`relationship work. e.g. bonding
