Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Betties
Barbara Snell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Ephraim Snell of Hullet Township, and
Alvin Betties of Clinton, were united hi mar-
riage at her parents' hone Hayen Barton
Stockfarm on December 4, 1941. Attending
the bride and groom were Kenneth Cooke
and Clarice (Lee ) Wall with flower girl
Jayne Mary Snell. Mr. and Mrs. Betties
reside near Clinton.

Mr. and Mrs. James Cummings
Shirley Myrtle Tilton Dickson, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. M. Frederick Dickson, mar-
ried James Andrews Cummings, son of Mrs.
Cummings of London and the late J.H. Cum-
mings, October 18, 1943 at the Church of the
Holy Saviour in Kitchener. The bride's
gown was made of cream chenille organdy
with a fitted bodice and full skirt. Ruffles
edged the V-shaped neckline, hipline and
bracelet -length sleeves. A short circular
veil of embroidered English silk net was
held in place by a coronet headdress of
white tulle. She carried a muf of white roses
and bouvardia tied with streamers of white
ribbon. A buffet supper was held at the
bride's home. Mrs. Cummings, who lives in
Goderich, was predeceased by her husband.

Mr. and Mrs. John Taylor
On August 5, 1961 Jayne Mary Snell,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Snell,
and John "Mac" Taylor, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Ken Taylor gf Walton, were united in
marriage at St. Paul's Anglican Church in
Clinton. The Taylor's now live in Dawson
Creek, British Columbia.
Mr. and Mrs. Murray MacLeod
Peggy Ann Betties, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Alvin Betties of Clinton, married Mur-
ray MacLeod, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward
MacLeod of Egmondville, at Holmesville
United Church on August 29, 1970. They are
living at Clinton.
