CHSS Orientation
By Kelley Cook
January 28 was the Grade 8, Orientation
Night at Clinton High School. It was a
chance for the Grade 8 students, who will be
attending CHSS in the fall, and their parents
to hear about school courses and activities.
They met in the gym at the high school at
7:30 pm to listen to the speakers and view
slides of the school. After the meeting,
parents and students had a chance to walk
around the school and visit the teachers,
who were in their rooms.
This night was organized to help the
students decide on the required eight
courses for Grade 9. The next time we visit
the high school will be in June, when we will
go through a typical day of classes.
