make the final score 4-2.
With the loss Clinton's 15 game winning
streak came to an end. Also, the loss made
Clinton's tournament record stand at two
wins and a loss. That meant they had to play
a mini -game of one ,ten minute period
against Onaping Falls who had an identical
win -loss record.
Onaping Falls 1- Clinton 0
In the mini -game of one ten minute period
Clinton fell victim to a 1-0. loss, thus ending
their hopes of bringing their first Silver
Stick North American ,Championship to this
town.
The winning goal came at the 6:04 mark
and it stood up as the Onaping Falls team
advanced to the semi-finals. The next day
(Sunday) they were eliminated by
Bracebridge who had previously beaten
Clinton.
Even though the Clinton boys lost their
chance to win the Silver Stick they played
very well. The boys can be proud of their ac-
complishments in the tournament.
The Atoms thank all those who followed
the team and appreciate their support.
Thanks again to Realtor Bailey who paid
their entry fee and also thanks to the town of
Clinton and Minor Hockey who donated pins
as gift exchanges for each team Clinton
played against.
