Maplewoods Apartments, Zurich, in his 88th
year. Beloved 'husband of Matilda Maria (Ditt
mer) Bassow. Dear brother of MrsTx Matilda
Tetreou and Miss Emma Bossow, both of the
Bluewoter Rest Home, Zurich and Mrs. Edith
Miller of Timmins. Mr. Bossow is_predeceosed by
three brothers and two sistes. Also surviving ore
severol nieces and nephews. Visitation was in,
the Zurich Chapel of Michael P. O'Connor

MIDDLETON - Morning prayer was held
in St. James' Middleton Anglican Church
Sunday morning with Rev. Aubrey Bell of-
ficiating. Organist for this Sunday was Mrs.
Bosma. Edward Deeves and Tessa
Steenstra presented the offering.
On January 22 a Vestry meeting will be
held at St. James' Middleton with a potluck
supper at 6 p.nt wit) -'the- breaking in of the
new dishes.
Sleigh Ride
In search of just plain fun for all ages,
there,is to be a sleigh ride and dinner for all
ages on February 9, starting at 4 p.m. A few
volunteers are needed to get matters mov-
ing. Please call Audrey Middleton if you're
interested in helping.

28 at 8 p.m. at the home of Anita Cooper. It
will be a craft night.

home from the hospital.
This year's
activities
planned
CLINTON - The first 1987 meeting for Zeta
Omega Phi was held on January 13 at
Dianne Collyer's home.
During the business portion of the even-
ing, several events and activities were
discussed: April 7 is the date for the fashion
show; Founder's Day (April 28) and a
volunteer list for duties; February 15 is
family skating; at the end of January there
is a possibility of holding a family swim at
Vanastra.
A motion was made and passed to con-
tinue donation for footcare supplies
( initiated last year) to Huron Day Care
Center.
The meeting's roll call question was,
"Have you ever played Bridge?" After a fun
and interesting evening with Dianne's
guidance, all members can now answer yes
to the roll call question!!
The next meeting will be held at the home
of Pat Senn on January 27.
