The hall was set up January 14 for a con-
signment sale. This event has been in the
making for some time, and by all reports, it
has been a successful event. One could
almost outfit a whole family from the racks
of new and used clothing. For sale also were
shoes, jewellery, games and much more.
Over the noon hour on January 15, another
Tupperware party took place in the
auditorium. This affair was hosted by Ber-
nice Glen and it is always a popular conces-
sion. Along with the usual articles, there
were many practical and colorful items for
use in the kitchen. Anyone looking for a gift,
could easily find something from this ex-
cellent assortment.
In the afternoon, residents enjoyed a
trivia contest. It is surprising to find out just
how alert the contestants are in answering
the questions accurately. Those people on
the -winning team were given free ice cream
at the tuck shop.
Rev. John Pinta conducted Roman
Catholic Mass Friday morning in the

residents all drew what winter meant to
them. In the evening they had the pleasure
of having the Zurich Mennonite ladies come
in to run the weekly game of Bingo.
The church service Tuesday afternoon
was led by Pastor Stephen Alles. Residents
listened to a beautiful service, as well as
singing some favorite hymns.
Then on Tuesday evening the Christian
Reformed Singers visited to sing some more
favorite songs. It was a very enjoyable
evening to say the least.
Wednesday morning once again brought
residents to their exercise regime, then in
the afternoon it was time for the monthly
auxiliary meeting. Several different ideas
and plans, both for the present and the
future, were discussed. Anyone who would
like to become part of the auxiliary is in-
vited to the next meeting which will take
place on February 11. Please come and see
what it is all about.
Thursday afternoon was the movie of the
week. This week the feature was Color of
Life. The movie showed both the beauty and"
miracles of the nature around us.
Finally, on Friday afternoon residents
had a super time playing many different
types of games. Following the games, all got
together and enjoyed singing a few favorite
songs.
