It was just turning dark when Kevin saw all the happy children laughing and playing out in the snow. Kevin started to cry. He decided to go for a walk to take his mind off his troubles. He was sitting on a bench when an elderly lady named Miss Cameron walked by and sat down beside him. She started a conversation. She said that her friends and family lived too far away to visit, and she felt so lonely spen- ding Christmas by herself and cooking a big meal and eating alone.
