The real meaning of Christmas to me is Jesus Christ our Saviour was born. On Christmas it is not just giving out presents; It is to celebrate Jesus birthday. Sheri Peet Grade 4 CDCS We all like it when Christmas comes. It is fun to receive and give gifts to others. But Christmas is really about Jesus. When Mary gave birth to her first son, an angel came down and told her that his name will be called Jesus. So that was done. And Jesus grew up with her for many years. Then He died for us to save us. He rose for us to give us eternal life and to everbody in the whole world. Jesus is important to me. Paul Bruinsma Grade 4 CDCS The real meaning of Christmas to me is the birth of our Saviour. It is not Santa Claus or presents. So don't think only Santa is coming to give you a present. Believe that the only one who died for our sins and made this world was born on Christmas Day. And at our home we want to give not receive So make your Christmas Jesus, not Santa Claus. . Denise TenPas Grade 4 CDCS I think the real meaning of Christmas is the gift Jesus. God gave Jesus to save the World and to be God's son. We celebrate Christmas because it is Jesus' birth. Presents are to remember that Jesus was a gift to us. When Jesus was born shepherds • come from far away. There was a star that twinkled all night. I hope the whole world should love, and believe in Jesus. Tim Gerrits Grade 4 CDCS Everyone knows what Christmas is about, right? No. Not everyone. Some people think Christmas is only Santa Claus, presents, Christmas trees, and all those types of things. Well, most people know the real meaning of Christtnas. Christmas is the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, which took place thousands of years ago, We still celebrate it today, though; to remember about it: Christmas is also family and friends, and getting together, and hoping for peace in the years to come. That's what Christmas is all about. Willena Ramaker Grade 4 CDCS It is Christ Jesus' birthday. Mary had a baby boy and called him Jesus. He was born in a stable. There were shepherds out watching their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord came and said, "Don't be afraid I give you great joy of a Saviour who is born in Bethlehem." So the shepherds ran to Bethlehem and saw him in a stable, with Mary and Joseph. That's the real meaning of Christmas to me.
