THE YEAR SANTA GOT LOST...
Grade 2 Blyth Public School
...it was a stormy Christmas Eve
One stormy winter on Christmas Eve, Santa
was packing his sleigh to go around and give
little children their presents.
That night when Santa left, he went a little
way and all of a sudden, he didn't know
where he was.
He was lost!
Chad and I were helping him deliver the
toys.
It was fun helping Santa, but we didn't like
getting lost in the snowstorm.
We made toys for Santa Claus.
Just then, Chad and I said, "Santa, Santa!
We see a little town not far away from
here."
Santa said, "Hurry, I see it too. Now I can
deliver the toys to the nice little children.
Then Santa,
safely.

...Santa
went too far
It was the night before Christmas. Santa
and the elves were getting the toys ready for
every good little boy and girl.
The reindeer were playing tag. And
Rudolph was lying in the snow, all by
himself.
Then the night came and Santa was gone.
•
Then Santa went too far and got lost. San-
ta said, "Oh no! We're lost in the woods."
Then morning came, and Santa said, "We
will find our way out. Don't worry
Rudolph."
But Rudolph was still worrying.
One family was saying that Santa was not
true, because he did not bring any toys for
the children. But Santa was true. Nobody
knew that Santa was lost in the woods.
In a few days Santa found his way home.
Rudolph was glad to be home again. Mrs.
Claus was glad that Santa got home safely.
