COTE
In loving memory of a dear son and brother Rene
who died December 21, 1984.
It's so lonely here without you Rene
We miss you more each day,
For life is not the same,
Since you were called away.
Your end was very sudden,
You made us weep and cry,
But the saddest part of all was
We never said goodbye.
Your resting place we visit,
And place flowers there with care,
But no one knows the heartache,
When we walk awy and leave you there.
Dear Lord, take a message
To our Rene way up above,
Tell him how much we miss him,
And give him all our love.
Sadly missed and always remembered by Mom

Atoms win two, tie one
In Milverton on December 8 the Clinton
Atoms continued their winning ways as they
pounded the home town team 10-1.
Clinton's leading scorer, Mark Liver-
more, again paved the way as he potted four
goals to go along with three assists, thus giv-
ing him 85 points for the season in only 23
games.
Livermore's linemates, Chris Kennedy
and Danny Wildfong, also had another good
game with Kennedy collecting two goals and
three assists while Wildfong gathered two
goals and three assists. Both Kennedy and
Wildfong have now accumulated 67 scoring
points thus far.
Adding single markers were Lee Gibbings
and Scott Wright. Picking up one assist in
the game were Craig McAsh, Nathan Burns,
Jeff Oesch and Bryan Watson.
In Clinton on December 9 the Clinton
Atoms scored in double figures for the se-
cond straight night. This time their victim
was Elma-Logan who took in on the chin to
the tune of 11-1.
Hard-working Lee Gibbings and Chris

three assists to go with his three goals.
Kennedy's line mates Mark Livermore
and Danny Wildfong each collected five
points. Livermore had two goals and three
assists while Wildfong had one goal and four
assists.
Now, after 24 games, this trio - Liver-
more, Kennedy and Wildfong have ac-
cumulated a total of 235 scoring points bet-
ween them.
Scott Wright, who has been playing much
better hockey as of late, collected three
assists.
Craig McAsh also picked up three points
on one goal and two assists.
Blue liner Jeff Oesch contributed to the
Atom attack as he unloaded a slap shot for
his fourth goal of the season from the point.
Jeff also had an assist during the game.
Nathan Burns who has been struggling in
scoring goals lately rounded nut the Atom
scoring with two assists.
At Listowel on December 13 the Clinton
Atoms and Listowel Cyclones skated to a 3-3
draw.
In the first period Clinton came out flying
as they took an early 2-0 lead before the
period was a minute old. Just 14 seconds into
the game Shane MacDonald's blue lint{ shot
was deflected into the empty cage by Danny
Wildfong. At the 52 second mark Chris Ken-
nedy converted a beautiful three way pass-
ing play from Mark Livermore and Danny
Wildfong.
Listowel's Jason Brooks narrowed the
Clinton lead to 2-1 at 7:11 of the opening
period.
In the second period the teams traded
goals. Listowel's Brooks, with his second
goal, tied the game at 2-2 at 6:25, but Mark
Livermore restored Clinton's lead again at
7:16 as he took a beautiful set up pass' from
Danny Wildfong in the slot area. Chris Ken-
nedy also drew an assist on the goal.
But in the third period Listowel tied the
game up at 3-3 with Tyler Sage scoring an
unassisted goal at 4:34.
