Gum Chewing Day
Last Tuesday, as everyone knows, was
Gum Chewing Day. Everyone had a great
afternoon of chewing and blowing bubbles.
Some even enjoyed the sticky faces.
In the 8B class students had a chance to
get a big blow. Everyone tried hard but
some didn't succeed.
The winners from the class were
Fayeanne Love and Jason McAsh.
After the bubbles, students did gum art on
a black piece of construction paper. This
ended the activities but they were then
allowed to finish off the day chewing gum.
Winners in the senior grades were Steven
Lostel and Fayeanne Love. The winners
from the junior grades were Michael
Herbert and Sandra Jackson. The primary
winners were Jill Carnochan and Tim
Strong.
The afternoon was great fun and the
students all wish they could chew gum
everyday, but thanks goes- to the- student's
council for letting them chew it for one
afternoon.
