Mustangs lose two close games
to Brussels and Exeter teams
CLINTON - Over the weekend the Clinton
Junior "D" Mustangs lost two close hockey
games, the first to Brussels by a score of 4-3
and the second to Exeter, 4-2.
Against Brussels on November 28 Clinton
fell behind by two goals early in the first
period but Travis Lyndon brought them a bit
closer at the 9:29 mark with a goal.
Assisting on that goal were Bob Dupee and
Wayne Smith.
The Mustangs, however, were trailing by
two goals by the end of the first period, and
this standing did not improve in the second
when they were unable to score while
Brussels netted one more.
Clinton rallied in the third period and
came within one goal of tying it up when
