By Dawn flunking
CLINTON - Pam Uyl is a Grade 12 co-op
studept at Central Huron, Secondary School
CRSS). Pam works at the co-op office right
in CHSS every other morning from 9 a.m. to
12 p.m., as a secretary.
She takes care of pretty well anything that
has to do with the co-op program. Her jobs
include filing, typing, word processing and
marking papers.
She works with Ms. McKenzie, the co-op
co-ordinator, quite frequently and says.s1e
is very dice to work with and very helpful to
her.
"Co-op is a very good experience," says
Pam, "and I really like what I am doing."
Pam hopes to, later on in the year, go
down to the school office to help out there.

Make breakfast better
If you bored with the traditional breakfast
menu, liven it up with these suggestions:
• yogurt with fruit, granola and nuts
• hot cereal with a chopped banana, some
dates and cinnamon
• add grated cheese, chopped fruit,
mushrooms, tomatoes and chopped ham to
scrambled eggs
• peanut butter on toast with added
banana slices and topped with raisins or
grated cheese
• try buttermilk or yogurt instead of
regular milk with your cereal
• eat leftovers from dinner, i.e. a chicken
leg with milk, casserole or cold pizza
(Remember, there are no breakfast rules
other than choosing foods from at least
three of the food groups).
When Agriculture Canada surveyed more
than 4,000 Canadians last year, they found
that 83 percent of the sample ate something
in the morning. Bread or toast eaten by
most people, while cereal, eggs and fruit
were far less' popular.
Four percent ate nothing at all, while 11
percent consumed only a beverage.
Although most of us do eat something, we
should also make sure that we eat enough
and try to incorporate a wider variety of
foods into breakfast.
